Appearance: Black hair to her waist, emerald eyes. Sometimes wears thin red glasses, but prefers contacts most of the time. A little bit shorter than average; mildly curvy, but in good shape. Slightly muscled as a result of regular fitness training and hard work. Has a wicked scar that runs from the small of her back all the way around her left side, and over her stomach. Slightly formal dress most of the time: long skirts to her calves or ankles, blouses, often in bright or strong colors. Occasionally, dresses casually in a T-shirt and jeans. Likes purple, blue, and green outfits. Accompanied by an odd, blue, diamond-motif plushie that flies by her side everywhere she goes.

Raquel

Raquel is Rikka's fairy companion; an early Echo returned him to Winter, but he has no memories of Rikka. Once he's regained a certain amount of his powerset, Winter will be able to use him to attain her magical girl form: the light of wisdom, Cure Diamond. Raquel can speak; when he's talking, it's expressed in this color.

Abilities: (through Winter)
Sentience - Raquel can talk, look around, and is aware of the world. He tends to put a strong preference on things important to Winter's continued safety and well-being.
Flight - Raquel can fly at a few times Winter's walking speed, meaning he can keep up with her when she's running, but only just. It's magical flight, so there's no visual or auditory tell that he's in the air, other than the fact that he's floating or moving. Raquel has no way to communicate with Winter while he's not with her, and if he reaches the boundary for numbered characters, he'll be unsummoned and will reappear next to her, dazed.
Form: Lovely Commune - Raquel can shift into a device not unlike a cell phone, with his head where the earpiece would be, called a Lovely Commune. While in this form, he can accept any of the various kinds of Loveads; most summon otherwise-mundane items that happen to produce various baby toys or similar implements, but Rikka's Cure Loveads allows him to help shift Winter into Cure Diamond. During the transformation, the Commune is in a pouch clipped to Diamond's hip. If other Dokidoki Precure are around, Raquel can also be used in this form as an actual cell phone that connects to other Lovely Communes (the other fairies) for two-way voice calls.
Form: Human - Raquel can turn into a human at will, as long as he's not a Lovely Commune at the time - that is, as long as Winter isn't transformed. He gets to choose the form the first time he transforms, but once he's decided, it's easiest to return to that form each time. Theoretically he'll stay in the same form forever, but more than likely he'll change that form to suit Winter as she grows up. While he's human, Raquel can't help Winter transform - he needs to be a Lovely Commune for that - and he can't sense the movement of darkness that heralds the presence of a Selfishness. Raquel's ability to be human is significant enough that it needs to be expanded on further; please see his application for additional information. Raquel doesn't actually use this ability yet.

Cure Diamond

Rikka was, in her lifetime, chosen by a fairy of the Trump Kingdom - Raquel - as a Pretty Cure, a legendary warrior. Together with her fairy partner, she could attain this form through the Lovely Commune, a magical artifact that is a form of the fairies of the Trump Kingdom (or, at least, the four we know of). While in form, Cure Diamond has a somewhat different appearance; her hair dyes a bright blue, and her eyes shine the same shade.

Winter can assume this form anytime she has her Cure Loveads and Raquel on hand, if and only if Raquel can shift into Lovely Commune form. Starting the shift takes a second or two of uninterrupted action, but once the shift starts it's technically instant (or near-instant) and can't be interrupted. There is no upper limit on how long Winter can stay in form as Cure Diamond; she can shift back at will. While nobody recognizes Cure Diamond as Rikka in canon, Winter's already given her identity to the press, on top of shifting out of form on camera, so her secret isn't particularly well-kept. During the shift, Raquel remains in a holster clipped to Diamond's uniform.

Base Properties:
Cure Diamond is quite a bit stronger, faster, and tougher than her base form - and that difference is even more pronounced since Winter is eighteen, rather than Rikka's fourteen. She can jump many times her height from a standing position, and can just about keep up with a train moving at full speed. She's also able to survive - and even keep fighting after - being thrown into the ground, going through buildings, and various other forms of damage that would snap bones on any average girl. Damage generally isn't reflected in open wounds; mostly, it's just bruises and scuff marks, although there's precedent for severe attacks to leave notable wounds. If Cure Diamond takes enough damage to knock her unconscious, break something important, or kill her outright, the form takes the brunt of it, but Winter will be knocked out of her Precure form and returned to civilian form, often bruised and exhausted, and Raquel the same way, if he's even still conscious. She needs time to catch her breath and gather her strength before she can become Cure Diamond again. Critical wounds transfer to Winter's civilian form - if she's bleeding out while she's in form and loses the transformation, she'll be in critical condition and require immediate attention.
Passive Boost - While not transformed, Winter retains a portion of her strength and durability as Cure Diamond. It's not a massive amount, but her strength is surprisingly high for her build, and she's resilient to attacks other than bullets, if her reflexes don't get her out of the way first.

Abilities:
Twinkle Diamond - While in form as Cure Diamond, Winter can fire off a beam of ice. It's intended as a finisher, so she can't do it very often, but it's flashy and effective. It fires in a small cone in front of her, so she can only affect a very small number of targets (or small area) with it. As Winter's power grows, Twinkle Diamond is proportionally less and less costly; she can use it more often.
Item: Love Heart Arrow - While in form as Cure Diamond, Winter can call upon this item, which looks not unlike a heart made of white and red plastic, with a smaller red heart inset on one end, and another heart on the opposite end, plus some really little ones - one each of pink, blue, yellow, and purple - in a line on a white bar in the middle. Useless on its own.
Diamond Shower - By slotting the Diamond Shower Loveads into her Love Heart Arrow and dragging her finger down the touch pad across the four hearts, a soft melody plays, and the Loveads shines. Holding her weapon high over her head, she can hit the edge of the heart like a tambourine to summon a rush of ice she can direct at will, unlike the point-and-shoot of Twinkle Diamond. Using Diamond Shower does actually make noise - the tambourine sound really does ring out over the battlefield.
Item: Magical Lovely Pad - A device not unlike an iPad (and jokingly referred to as an aiPad), but with multiple hearts, pink accents, and a slot for a Loveads. One of the apps installed lets Winter teleport from place to place; when it's launched, it pings the user's mind for the place they're looking to go, and the screen appears covered in something. Wiping at it reveals the chosen location, and she'll be sucked through and dropped there. Accuracy is fairly solid. The video chat doesn't app; it only communicates with other Magical Lovely Pads.
Diamond Swirkle - By slotting the Diamond Swirkle Loveads into her Magical Lovely Pad, Cure Diamond can launch an app for Diamond Swirkle. Waving her hand over the screen in a circle, the target is caught in a vortex of icy-cold water, and will be badly disoriented, soaked to the bone, and starting to frost over. Not a finisher; Diamond needs to use something else to do the last point of damage.
Form: Cure Diamond (enhanced) - Requires Heart, Rosetta, Sword, Ace, Magical Lovely Pads for all five or them, and an extra Loveads. Winter doesn't know how to take this form.
Diamond Blizzard - By slotting the Diamond Shower Loveads into her Love Heart Arrow, Cure Diamond gets access to another attack, basically a special usage of Diamond Shower. This one is more specifically targeted, and is much stronger, at the expense of being more tiring, or worse. It comes in two versions; it can be used to precisely target an enemy and freeze it solid, or it can be used as a last-ditch attack. In the latter mode, Cure Diamond can freeze herself into the center of a massive three-dimensional diamond of ice, purifying anything inside. It's extremely strong, and very durable, but has the significant drawback that she's frozen inside. It ends after a relatively short time, after which Diamond is drained but functional.

Team Actions:
Lovely Force Arrow - Requires Heart, Rosetta, and Sword, and Love Heart Arrows for all four of them plus a Lovely Force Arrow Loveads each. Winter doesn't know how to join this attack.
Royal Straight Flush - Requires Heart, Rosetta, Sword, and Ace, and Magical Lovely Pads for all five of them. Winter doesn't know how to join this attack.
Lovely Royal Straight Flush - Requires Heart, Rosetta, Sword, Ace, Magical Lovely Pads for all five of them, and an extra item only Cure Heart can use (theoretically). Winter doesn't know how to join this attack and is short some equipment anyway.

Crossover Actions:
Form: Super Cure Diamond - Requires Moonlight and at least one other Cure with a fairy or transformation device. After passing the Heartcatch Mirage's trial, the girls can use its power to attain a new form: the Super Silhouettes. While together, they can pray to the Mirage, and its power flows through them. Diamond's costume seems to get a bit longer and the frills seem to come to sharper points, and the blue fades to a little more of a pastel shade with white accents. She also finds herself wearing pure white gloves that reach well past her elbows, and a tiara with a pink heart inset, and a pink ribbon tying it onto her head. The biggest visual change, though, is a pearlescent heart coming from her mid-back: this is a pair of wings that grant her fast, easily-controllable flight. Because they give magical rather than mundane flight, Diamond can hover, change directions on a dime, and perform other insane aerial maneuvers. If one leaves form, they both need to use the mirror again. Incapacitation of any involved Cure knocks the lot of them out of Silhouette forms. Diamond still isn't a Heartcatch Cure, and can't access any of the normal attack actions available to Moonlight and the others... except for at least one team attack.
Heartcatch Orchestra - Requires Moonlight and at least one more Cure that has passed the Heartcatch Mirage's trial; the more, the better. All Precure involved need to be in Super Silhouette form. By praying to the Heartcatch Mirage again, the girls can call down a massive aspect of the manifestation of infinite love, which delivers a punch with earth-shattering power to any poor sap in the target zone. This is a team finisher, and its power backs that up - this is an attack strong enough to purify anything but the canon's final enemy without a whole lot of trouble. Anything evil that's anywhere close may find itself at risk of purification, even if it's an allied character.
Form: Infinity Silhouette - A unique combination form, driven by the power of infinite love. Moonlight and all available Precure that have passed the Heartcatch Mirage's trial can join together into this form, with the stars reflected in her eyes. The Silhouette is large enough to be seen from the Earth's surface unassisted; it's maybe a quarter of the size of the moon. This form can breathe normally in space; the full extent of its powers is unclear, since we've only seen it perform one attack. But it's feasible to assume it has the superior flight control the Super Silhouettes all possess, and we know it has powerful melee attacks that conduct an arbitrarily large amount of purification power: its only known attack is the Precure Straight Punch. The Infinity Silhouette isn't suitable for ground-based combat; the Super Silhouettes are the most powerful form available to the girls in that case.
